DESCRIPTION

The 9842-060-1000 is a 1,000 ft reel of 2-pair, 24 AWG cable engineered for robust RS-485 serial communication. It is constructed with two pairs of 24 AWG (7x32) stranded tinned copper conductors and polyethylene (PE) insulation. For superior noise immunity, the cable features an overall Beldfoil® tape shield (100% coverage) and a tinned copper braid shield (90% coverage). With a nominal characteristic impedance of 120 Ohms and a durable PVC outer jacket, this cable ensures reliable data transmission. It is ideal for applications such as industrial automation with PLCs and VFDs, point-of-sale systems, and other low-voltage digital or analog signal wiring in noisy environments.
