DESCRIPTION

The 9934-CHR-500 is a multi-conductor, low-capacitance computer cable specifically engineered for EIA RS-232/423 systems. It is constructed with nine 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors and features Datalene® foam polyethylene insulation for low-distortion, high-speed data transmission. For excellent noise immunity, the cable is shielded with an overall Beldfoil® tape (100% coverage) and a tinned copper braid (65% coverage), all enclosed in a durable PVC jacket. Key electrical characteristics include a nominal capacitance of 39.372 pF/m and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. This robust construction makes it ideal for use in computer peripherals, industrial controls, and other data-intensive applications requiring reliable signal integrity.
