DESCRIPTION

The 9942-CHR-1000 is a multi-conductor computer cable engineered for EIA RS-232 applications. It features six 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation. For excellent noise rejection, the cable incorporates an overall Beldfoil® shield with 100% coverage plus a tinned copper braid shield with 65% coverage. The assembly is protected by a chrome-colored PVC outer jacket and is rated for an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. Its robust shielding and construction make it ideal for reliable data transmission in various computing and control environments.
