DESCRIPTION

The 1036A-BLK-1000 is a UL-rated instrumentation cable featuring 1 triad of 18 AWG (7x26) bare copper conductors with PVC insulation and E1 color coding, designed for control and instrumentation applications. The cable incorporates an overall Beldfoil (aluminum/polyester) shield with 100% coverage and a tinned copper drain wire (20 AWG, 7x28 construction), providing excellent EMI protection. The outer jacket is black PVC with a nominal diameter of 0.266 inches and wall thickness of 0.037 inches, including a ripcord for easy stripping. Electrical characteristics include a nominal conductor DC resistance of 5.86 Ohm/1000ft, capacitance of 50 pF/ft, and inductance of 0.17 µH/ft, with a UL voltage rating of 300V RMS for PLTC/CMG applications. The cable operates reliably over a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C and meets UL 1685, CSA FT4, and IEEE 1202 flammability standards. It is suitable for indoor, outdoor, and burial applications with sunlight resistance, making it ideal for industrial control systems, data acquisition, and instrumentation installations requiring robust shielding and reliable signal transmission.
