DESCRIPTION

The 1855A-BLK-1000 is a sub-miniature 75-ohm coaxial cable designed for high-quality signal transmission. It is constructed with a 23 AWG solid bare copper conductor and gas-injected foam HDPE insulation for optimal signal speed. For superior noise immunity, it incorporates a Duofoil® tape shield providing 100% coverage, supplemented by a 95% coverage tinned copper braid shield. The cable has a nominal velocity of propagation of 82%, an operating temperature range of -30°C to +75°C, and is enclosed in a durable black PVC jacket. With a CMR flame rating, this cable is suitable for indoor riser installations. Its black jacket also makes it appropriate for outdoor and aerial applications when supported by a messenger wire, making it ideal for broadcast, digital video, and telecommunications systems.
