DESCRIPTION

9503-CHR-500 is a computer EIA RS-232 cable designed for data communication applications. It features 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors arranged in 3 twisted pairs with semi-rigid PVC insulation (0.011 in wall thickness), providing reliable signal transmission. The cable includes an overall Beldfoil aluminum/polyester shield with 100% coverage and a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire for effective EMI/RFI protection. With a nominal characteristic impedance of 75 Ohm, UL voltage rating of 300 V RMS, and operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, this cable is suitable for various computer and instrumentation interconnect applications. The PVC outer jacket has a nominal diameter of 0.232 in and meets CMG flammability ratings per NEC and CEC standards.
