DESCRIPTION

9506-CHR-100 is a multi-conductor computer cable designed for EIA RS-232 applications. It features 6 twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation and an overall Beldfoil aluminum foil-polyester tape shield providing 100% coverage. The cable has a nominal characteristic impedance of 75 Ohms, a nominal outer diameter of 0.289 inches, and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. With a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS and a maximum recommended current of 1.5 Amps per conductor at 25°C, this RoHS-compliant cable is suitable for data communication and computer interface applications requiring reliable signal transmission.
