DESCRIPTION
The 6187R1KL1.0 is a Model 6180 series single-turn conductive plastic precision potentiometer/position sensor with a 7/8" diameter body, 1/4" shaft, and 3/8" bushing designed for accurate analog position feedback. It features a resistance range of 1K to 100K ohms with ±10% standard tolerance, ±1% independent linearity, and an essentially infinite resolution with 0.1% maximum output smoothness. The device operates at up to 400 VDC input voltage with a 1.0 watt power rating at 70°C, 750 V rms dielectric strength, and 1,000 megohm minimum insulation resistance, delivering 340° nominal electrical travel with a 360° continuous mechanical travel. It is rated for -40°C to +125°C dynamic operation, withstands 100 G shock (6 ms saw-tooth), 10 G vibration (10–500 Hz), and achieves 5 million shaft revolutions of rotational life with IP40 ingress protection. This potentiometer is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and position feedback applications requiring high reliability and precision in harsh environments.
