DESCRIPTION

1430-PV-500-D is an IEC Class I + Class II DC Surge Protective Device (SPD) designed to protect DC power systems from damage due to lightning, transients, and power surges. This Din-Rail mountable SPD features high energy MOV technology with thermal disconnector, operating at a network voltage of 500 VDC with a maximum operating voltage of 560 VDC. It provides robust surge protection with a nominal discharge current of 25 kA (8/20 µs), maximum discharge current of 80 kA (8/20 µs), and impulse discharge current of 12.5 kA (10/350 µs). The device offers a protection level of =1.8 kV and includes status indicator, replaceable modular design, and remote signaling capability. Common applications include DC power systems, photovoltaic systems, and EV charging stations where reliable surge protection is essential.
