DESCRIPTION

The 2047-09-ALF is a high-current 2-electrode gas discharge tube designed for surge protection in telecommunications and industrial equipment. It features a compact 12.7 mm diameter and 12.7 mm length with a DC sparkover voltage of 90 V (±20% @ 100 V/s), impulse sparkover of 350/450 V (100 V/s typical), and can withstand impulse discharge currents up to 50,000 A (8/20 µs) for 10 operations. The device exhibits low capacitance (<5 pF at 1 MHz), high insulation resistance (>10? O), and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C with long service life and UL recognition. The RoHS-compliant version with Sn plating provides excellent surge current rating and low insertion loss, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from transient overvoltages in demanding industrial and telecommunications applications.
