DESCRIPTION

The 3059P-1-503LF is a 1-1/4" rectangular multiturn cermet trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for industrial sealed applications requiring precision adjustment. This model features a 50 kO resistance value (code 503) with ±10% tolerance, 22 turns of effective travel, and infinite resolution for fine-tuning capabilities. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a power rating of 1.0 watt at 70°C, 1,000 MO minimum insulation resistance at 500 VDC, and dielectric strength of 900 VAC at sea level. The device includes flexible leads (7 strands of 30 AWG), solderable printed circuit pins, and is RoHS compliant with 100% tin plating (LF termination). Common applications include circuit calibration, signal conditioning, and equipment tuning in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and precision electronics where sealed, multiturn adjustment is required.
