DESCRIPTION

The 3296Y-1-253 is a 3/8" square Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial applications. This multiturn cermet device features a 25,000 ohm resistance value with ±10% tolerance, infinite resolution, and 25 turns of effective travel for fine adjustment control. The sealed design incorporates a chevron seal and solderable pin terminals, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and a power rating of 0.5 watts at 70°C. The potentiometer exhibits excellent electrical stability with contact resistance variation of 1.0% or 3 ohms maximum, voltage adjustability of ±0.01%, and insulation resistance of 500 VDC minimum. This component is ideal for calibration, tuning, and compensation applications in test equipment, instrumentation, and industrial control systems where reliable, sealed performance is required.
