DESCRIPTION

The 3299Y-1-501LF is a 3/8" square multiturn cermet trimming potentiometer (Trimpot) designed for industrial sealed applications requiring precision resistance adjustment. This model features a 500 ohm resistance value with ±10% tolerance, 25 turns of effective travel, and infinite resolution for smooth voltage and resistance adjustability of ±0.01% and ±0.05% respectively. The device operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a power rating of 0.5 watt at 70°C, and includes 100% tin-plated RoHS-compliant terminations (LF designation) for reliable soldering. The potentiometer exhibits excellent environmental performance with dielectric strength of 900 VDC at sea level, 1,000 MO minimum insulation resistance, and meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards. Common applications include signal conditioning, calibration circuits, and precision tuning in industrial control systems and instrumentation where sealed, multiturn adjustment is required.
