DESCRIPTION

The 56AAD-C28-B15/R81L is a sealed 1/2" (12.5 mm) panel control potentiometer with integrated rotary switch designed for robust industrial and consumer applications. This unit features a 10K ohm linear taper element with ±20% tolerance, a 7/8" flatted shaft with 3/8" diameter bushing, and an SPDT switch configured for counter-clockwise (CCW) operation. The device incorporates a splash seal, metal bushing and shaft construction, and PC board mounting with anti-rotation lug capability, providing excellent environmental protection and mechanical stability. Key electrical characteristics include an effective electrical angle of 240° ±5°, contact resistance variation of ±2%, and rotational life of 50,000 cycles at rated power. This potentiometer is ideal for audio equipment, industrial control panels, and consumer electronics requiring sealed, reliable volume or parameter adjustment with integrated switching functionality.
