DESCRIPTION

The 78F1R8K-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor from Bourns' 78F Series, designed for high-frequency filtering and energy storage applications. It features an inductance value of 1.8 µH with ±10% tolerance, a DC resistance of 0.23 O, and a maximum DC current rating of 655 mA at 25°C. The component exhibits a self-resonant frequency of 125 MHz and a quality factor of 50 at 7.9 MHz test frequency, with a dielectric strength of 500 VRMS. The inductor is constructed with a ferrite DR core, enamelled copper wire, and epoxy resin conformal coating, operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.
