DESCRIPTION

The 78F270J-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor designed for RF filtering and power supply applications. It features a 270 µH inductance (±5% tolerance) with a quality factor (Q) of 60 at 0.79 MHz test frequency, a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 3.70 MHz, and a DC resistance (DCR) of 7.70 O. The device is rated for a maximum DC current (IDC) of 120 mA and exhibits a dielectric strength of 500 VRMS. Constructed with a ferrite DR core, enamelled copper wire, and epoxy resin conformal coating, it operates across a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C (including a 35 °C temperature rise at rated current). This component is ideal for DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general RF filtering in compact electronic systems requiring reliable performance and RoHS compliance.
