DESCRIPTION

CSM2F-8518-L100J01 is an automotive-grade current sense resistor designed for precision current measurement in demanding applications. This component features a 100 µO resistance value with a power rating of 36 W at 70 °C, tinned terminals for enhanced reliability, and operates across a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +170 °C. The resistor exhibits a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±125 ppm/°C on test points and thermal EMF below 1.50 µV/K, with a resistance tolerance of ±5 %. It is AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant, rated for a maximum fastening torque of 10 Nm, and demonstrates excellent environmental stability through thermal shock, soldering heat, and humidity testing. Common applications include current sensing in battery management systems, bus bars, welding equipment, and frequency converters, where accurate low-resistance measurement and high pulse power capability are essential.
