DESCRIPTION

GDT21-40-S1-RP is a next-generation 2-electrode gas discharge tube arrestor designed for surge protection against induced voltage transients such as lightning and AC induction. It features a DC sparkover voltage of 400 V ±30%, insulation resistance greater than 100 MO, and capacitance less than 0.3 pF at 1 MHz. The device offers a nominal impulse discharge current of 500 A (8/20 µs) with an impulse life of 300 operations at 100 A, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. Housed in a compact 3.2 mm x 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm surface mount package, this RoHS compliant GDT is ideal for applications including set top boxes, industrial communications, HVAC controls, xDSL, POTS, G.Fast, and antennae systems.
