DESCRIPTION
ISOM3-320-B-L2 is a hybrid protection component from Bourns' IsoMOV® Series that combines metal oxide varistor (MOV) and gas discharge tube (GDT) technologies into a single device. It features a maximum continuous operating voltage (MCOV) of 320 V rms (415 V dc), with low operating leakage of less than 10 µA at MCOV and nominal capacitance of 30 pF at 20 kHz. The device provides robust surge protection with a maximum clamping voltage of 50 V at 200 A and supports 3,000 operations at 15 surge cycles and 6,000 operations at 10 surge cycles, with ring-wave tolerance up to 136 A in a single operation. The in-line lead configuration (L2) offers lead spacing of 7.5 ± 1.0 mm and wire diameter of 0.8 ± 0.05 mm, making it suitable for compact PCB designs. This component is ideal for AC and DC power applications requiring premium surge protection performance with space efficiency and extended operational life.
