MF-USML650-2 is a low-ohmic PTC resettable fuse from Bourns designed for thermal protection and overcurrent limiting in battery packs, mobile devices, and USB applications. The device features a maximum voltage rating of 6 V, maximum current of 50 A, and a hold current (Ihold) of 6.5 A at 23°C with a trip current (Itrip) of 13.0 A. It exhibits ultra-low resistance of 0.0010 Ohms at 23°C and a maximum time to trip of 32.5 seconds at the trip current level, with typical tripped power dissipation of 0.8 W. The 1210 surface mount package provides a small footprint and low profile suitable for space-constrained applications, and the device is RoHS compliant and halogen-free with ENIG-plated terminals. Common applications include thermal protection for Li-ion and polymer battery packs, game consoles, PC motherboards, USB port protection (USB 2.0, 3.0, and OTG), mobile phones, and digital cameras.
