DESCRIPTION

The MOV-07D470KK is a 7 mm radial leaded Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) engineered to protect electronic circuits from overvoltage transients such as lightning and power induction. It has a nominal varistor voltage of 47V, a maximum continuous voltage rating of 30V RMS, and a maximum clamping voltage of 93V at 2.5A. This bidirectional component features a fast response time of less than 25 ns and can withstand a single peak surge current of 250A (8/20 Âµs). Its high energy absorption and current handling capabilities make it ideal for use in power supplies, telecom systems, and line voltage applications.
