DESCRIPTION

The MOV-10D781K is a metal oxide varistor from the MOV-10DxxxK series, designed to protect against overvoltage transients like lightning and power induction. It operates with a maximum continuous RMS voltage of 485 V and a DC voltage of 640 V. This varistor features a nominal voltage of 780 V at 1 mA DC and provides a maximum clamping voltage of 1290 V at a class current of 25 A. It is capable of handling a peak surge current of 2500 A and has a maximum energy absorption rating of 80 Joules. With its high current handling and fast response time, this component is ideal for applications in power supplies, power systems, telecom systems, and white goods.
