DESCRIPTION

PEC12R-3022FS0024 is a 12 mm incremental encoder designed for precise rotational input in electronic applications. It features a horizontal mount configuration with axial PC pin terminals and bushing, an insulated flatted shaft with 22.5 mm length, and a resolution of 24 pulses per 360° rotation with 2-bit quadrature output. The encoder includes a push momentary SPST switch with 0.5 ± 0.3 mm travel and 610 ± 306 gf actuation force, rated at 10 mA at 5 V DC. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C, with rotational life of 30,000 cycles minimum and switch life of 20,000 cycles minimum. Common applications include level control, tuning, and timer settings in audio-visual equipment, consumer electric appliances, musical instrumentation, and communications equipment.
