DESCRIPTION

The PEC12R-4222F-S0024 is a 12 mm incremental encoder designed for user interface control. This model is configured for horizontal mounting with axial PC pins and features a 22.5 mm insulated, flatted shaft. It provides a 2-bit quadrature output with a resolution of 24 pulses per 360-degree rotation, matched with 24 mechanical detents for tactile feedback. The encoder includes an integrated SPST momentary push switch rated for 10 mA at 5 VDC. With a rotational life of 30,000 cycles and a switch life of 20,000 cycles, it offers high reliability for applications like level control, tuning, and timer settings in audio-visual equipment, consumer appliances, and musical instruments.
