DESCRIPTION

The PEC16-4020F-N0024 is a 16 mm incremental encoder designed for user interface controls. This model features a horizontal PC pin layout, no detents for smooth rotation, a 20.0 mm insulated flatted shaft, and does not include a push switch. It provides a 2-bit quadrature code output with a resolution of 24 pulses per 360° rotation and has a contact rating of 1 mA at 5 VDC. Designed for high reliability, the encoder has a rotational life of at least 100,000 cycles and operates in temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C. It is well-suited for level control, tuning, and timer settings in audio equipment, radios, and consumer appliances.
