DESCRIPTION

PEC16-4215F-N0024 is a 16 mm incremental rotary encoder designed for level control, tuning, and timer settings in audio-visual equipment, consumer appliances, and musical instrumentation. The encoder features 2-bit quadrature output with 24 pulses per 360° rotation, a momentary push switch with SPST contact configuration, and an insulated flatted shaft with horizontal rear-facing PC terminals. It operates continuously over 360° mechanical rotation with a maximum running torque of 10.2 kgf·cm and supports a maximum operating speed of 100 RPM. The device is rated for 100,000 rotational cycles minimum and 20,000 switch cycles minimum, with an IP40 rating for environmental protection. Its compact design, low cost compared to optical encoders, and high reliability make it ideal for consumer electronics requiring reliable rotary input control.
