DESCRIPTION

PTVS20-015C-TH is a high current bidirectional TVS diode designed for use in high power DC bus clamping applications. It features a 20 kA peak current rating per 8/20 µs IEC 61000-4-5 surge waveform, with a repetitive standoff voltage of 15 V and a typical clamping voltage of 44 V at 20 kA. The device offers a breakdown voltage range of 16 V to 19 V, low standby current of 10 µA maximum, and a typical capacitance of 38.7 nF. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, this RoHS compliant through-hole device assists in meeting IEC 61000-4-5 surge requirements and is ideal for protecting high power DC bus systems.
