DESCRIPTION

PTVS3-058C-SH is a high-current bidirectional TVS diode designed for high power DC bus clamping applications and surge protection. The device features a 58 V repetitive standoff voltage (VWM), a peak current rating of 3 kA per the 8/20 µs IEC 61000-4-5 waveform, and a maximum clamping voltage of 110 V at 3 kA surge current. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and exhibits low standby current of 10 µA maximum, with a capacitance of 2.3 nF at 10 kHz. The device is housed in a surface-mount package with a dimension D of 7.00 ± 0.50 mm, is UL recognized, and meets RoHS compliance requirements. This TVS diode is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in high-power DC systems, power distribution networks, and industrial applications requiring robust transient voltage suppression.
