DESCRIPTION
PWR163S-25-R300FE is a DPAK-style surface mount power resistor from the PWR163 Series, designed for high-power applications requiring low inductance and excellent pulse characteristics. This 25 W resistor features a resistance value of 0.3 O with ±5% tolerance, thermal resistance of 5.2 °C/W, and maximum inductance of 0.1 µH, making it ideal for high-frequency circuits such as amplifiers and wireless base station applications. The resistor operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to 155 °C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and is electrically isolated from the backplate for enhanced safety. It is RoHS compliant and AEC-Q200 qualified, with compatibility for lead-free solder reflow processes. Common applications include power supplies, motor drives, test and measurement equipment, rectifiers, and current limiting or capacitor discharge circuits.
