DESCRIPTION

SDR0403-6R8ML is a surface-mount power inductor from Bourns' SDR0403 series, designed for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supply applications. The inductor features a 6.8 µH inductance at 1 kHz with ±20% tolerance, a ferrite DR core with enameled copper wire, and a compact low-profile design of only 3.2 mm maximum height. It delivers a rated RMS current of 1.41 A with a maximum saturation current of 2.10 A, a DC resistance of 0.12 O, and a self-resonant frequency of 40 Hz minimum. The device is RoHS compliant and rated for a maximum temperature rise of 40°C at rated current, making it suitable for portable communications equipment, camcorders, LCD TVs, and other compact power supply designs requiring low inductance and minimal board space.
