DESCRIPTION

SM453229-231N7Y is a 10/100/1000 Base-T PoE+ chip LAN transformer designed for IEEE 802.3 Ethernet applications. It features a minimum inductance of 230 µH at 100 kHz with 0 mA DC bias and 200 µH minimum with 15 mA DC bias, along with a 1:1 turns ratio (±3%). The transformer offers low insertion loss of -1.5 dB maximum across 1-100 MHz and provides 1500 VAC hi-pot isolation for 60 seconds. With an operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C and RoHS compliance, this component is ideal for Ethernet networking equipment requiring PoE+ capability and EMI reduction when paired with common mode chokes.
