DESCRIPTION

SMBJ150A is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 200 V and a breakdown voltage of 420 V, with a response time of less than 1.0 picosecond for fast transient suppression. The device is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package and is RoHS compliant, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards. With 600 watts peak power dissipation capability, the SMBJ150A is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in portable communications, computing, and video equipment from transient voltage events.
