DESCRIPTION

SRN5040-470M is a semi-shielded power inductor from Bourns designed for DC/DC converter applications and other power management circuits. It features an inductance of 47 µH with a 20% tolerance, a maximum DC resistance of 0.324 O, and a rated RMS current of 0.9 A with a saturation current of 1.1 A. The inductor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and exhibits a self-resonant frequency of 7 MHz at the 2.52 MHz test frequency. Its semi-shielded ferrite core construction with magnetic epoxy resin coating provides excellent performance while maintaining a compact form factor suitable for notebook computers, digital video cameras, HDDs, cellphones, and LCD displays.
