DESCRIPTION
SRN6045TA-6R8M is a semi-shielded power inductor from Bourns designed for use in switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, and other power management circuits. The device features a 6.8 µH inductance at 1 MHz with ±20% tolerance, a quality factor (Q) of 15 minimum at 1 MHz, and a self-resonant frequency of 30 MHz typical. It is rated for 3.6 A RMS current with a saturation current of 5.7 A typical and a DC resistance of 34 mO (±20%). The inductor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a 40°C temperature rise at rated current, and is constructed with a ferrite core, enameled copper wire, and magnetic epoxy resin coating. This AEC-Q200 compliant, RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free component is ideal for automotive, industrial, and consumer power conversion applications requiring reliable energy storage and filtering.
