DESCRIPTION

The SRN8040-680M is a semi-shielded power inductor from Bourns' SRN8040 series designed for DC/DC converter applications and other power management circuits. It features a 68 µH inductance with a maximum DC resistance of 1.1 O, a rated RMS current of 1.2 A, and a saturation current of 1.2 A, with a self-resonant frequency of 0.275 MHz. The inductor has a component height of 4 mm, operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and is constructed with a ferrite core and enameled copper wire with magnetic epoxy resin coating. It is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, making it suitable for notebook computers, digital video cameras, HDDs, cell phones, and LCD display applications where compact, high-performance power inductance is required.
