DESCRIPTION

SRU5018-100Y is a shielded surface-mount power inductor from Bourns' SRU5018 series, designed for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supply applications. The inductor features a 10 µH inductance with ±30% tolerance, a maximum RMS current rating of 1.25 A, and a DC resistance of 65.0 mO, with a saturation current of 1.05 A typical. It incorporates a ferrite DR and RI core with enameled copper wire and silver/nickel/tin terminals, housed in a compact 5.2 mm × 3.9 mm × 1.8 mm package suitable for high-density PCB layouts. The device operates reliably across -40°C to +125°C, supports reflow soldering at 230°C for 50 seconds maximum, and is RoHS compliant. This inductor is ideal for portable communication equipment, camcorders, LCD TVs, and other applications requiring efficient power management in space-constrained designs.
