DESCRIPTION

PTL-16-486 is a thermal transfer printable metallized polyester label stock designed for rating and serial plates requiring nameplate-like quality. It features a matte, light gray finish with a permanent rubber-based adhesive and a total thickness of 0.0053 inch (0.135 mm) excluding liner. The label stock provides high adhesion to textured metals, powder coated surfaces, and low surface energy plastics, with adhesion values up to 146 oz/in (160 N/100 mm) on stainless steel after 24-hour dwell. It offers excellent resistance to solvents, UV light, humidity, salt fog, and temperatures ranging from -40°F (-40°C) to 248°F (120°C) for long-term service. This UL Recognized and CSA Accepted label material is ideal for applications utilizing barcodes, alphanumerics, graphic symbols, and logos.
