DESCRIPTION

The AN-1312-A is a NEMA die-cast aluminum enclosure designed for industrial protection and equipment housing applications. It features a robust aluminum alloy ADC-12 construction with a natural finish (suffix -A) or smooth black powdercoat finish (suffix -AB), and is UL listed for U.S. and Canada (File #E194432). The enclosure is rated for NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 protection standards, which compare to IP-68 rating, with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C. External dimensions are 3.59 inches (91.1 mm) in width, 2.87 inches (72.9 mm) in height, and 2.87 inches (72.9 mm) in depth, with a wall thickness of 0.11 inches (2.8 mm). The enclosure includes a molded silicone gray gasket and is secured with four M4×0.7×20 mm stainless steel screws (supplied) torqued to 12 in./lb., and accepts M3.5×6 mm or #6×1/4" self-tapping screws for PCB mounting. This enclosure is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in harsh industrial environments, outdoor installations, and applications requiring corrosion resistance and environmental sealing.
