DESCRIPTION

The 16-3POFF-OV-4 is a single-pole momentary action pushbutton switch rated for 3A at 125VAC with Off-(On) circuitry and optional overtravel plunger action. This switch features a slow-make, slow-break contact mechanism and requires only light actuation force between 4 oz and 1 lb, making it suitable for general-purpose finger actuation applications. The switch has a dielectric strength of 1000V (UL/CSA) between live and dead metal parts, an electrical life of 25,000 cycles, and a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles, with an operating temperature range from 0°C to 85°C. The unit includes a 0.562-inch length bushing (#4) with a black plastic color cap (CBL) on the metal plunger. Typical applications include test and measurement equipment and audio-visual systems where reliable momentary switching is required.
