DESCRIPTION

The SPD12051 is a 5W switching power supply designed for DIN rail installation in industrial automation systems. It features universal AC input ranging from 90–264 VAC, with a 12V DC output rated at 420 mA nominal current. The unit incorporates comprehensive protection mechanisms including short circuit protection in hiccup mode, overload protection at 110–135%, and overvoltage protection at 125–145%. Key performance characteristics include ±1% line regulation, ±2% load regulation, 50 mVpp ripple and noise, and typical efficiency of 86% at nominal load. The supply operates over an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +71°C with free air convection cooling, and includes LED indicators for DC power ON and DC low conditions. It is CE, TUV, and cULus approved, making it suitable for demanding industrial control, instrumentation, and automation applications requiring compact, reliable power delivery on DIN rails.
