DESCRIPTION

The EP1820PPAS-1 is a polarized retro-reflective photoelectric sensor designed for heavy-duty industrial applications in a compact M18 metal housing. It features a 2.0 m rated operating distance with modulated red light (660 nm GaAlAs LED) and improved immunity to reflecting surfaces through polarization technology. The sensor provides PNP output with 200 mA continuous current capacity, complementary NO/NC thyristor switching functions, and operates over a supply voltage range of 10 to 40 VDC with integrated protection against reverse polarity, short-circuit, and transients. With IP67 degree of protection, operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, and a 270° single-turn potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment, this sensor is ideal for packaging, material handling, and automation systems requiring reliable object detection in challenging environments.
