DESCRIPTION

MCBACIP is a BACnet-IP port module designed for integration with the WM30 96 smart modular power analyzer from Carlo Gavazzi. This module provides Ethernet-based communication capability, allowing the power analyzer to connect to BACnet networks for measurement reading and object description writing. The module supports static IP configuration with selectable netmask and default gateway, operates over RJ45 10/100 BaseTX connections with a maximum distance of 100 m, and features a fixed device object instance of BAC0h with selectable instance numbers from 0 to 4,194,302. It implements BACnet-IP services including "I have," "I am," "Who has," "Who is," and "Read (multiple) Property," supporting analogue value objects (Type 2), binary-value objects for virtual alarm re-transmission (Type 5), and device objects (Type 8). The MCBACIP module is positioned in slot B of the modular architecture and is commonly used in building energy management systems, HVAC control networks, and facility automation applications where standardized BACnet communication is required.
