DESCRIPTION

UWPAM1US1L2X is a wireless endpoint adapter that provides LoRa or LoRaWAN communication to RS485 Carlo Gavazzi meters, enabling integration with standard LoRaWAN networks or private UWP 3.0 platforms. The device operates on the US 915 MHz ISM band with embedded end-to-end AES128 encryption and features a high-performance antenna with SMA connector and 2 m cable length. It supports configurable transmission intervals from 5 minutes to 24 hours, authentication types including ABP and OTAA, and includes a push button for diagnostic and commissioning purposes. The adapter delivers long-range wireless communication up to 10 km in open air and 1 km in typical applications, with no SIM card or annual fees required. This solution is ideal for remote energy monitoring systems, enabling reliable data collection from multiple meters through a single UWPM master concentrator (up to 50 UWPA per UWPM).
