DESCRIPTION

CA-10IDS2-F is a 10-position insulation displacement connector (IDC) socket manufactured by Circuit Assembly Corp that conforms to MIL-C-83503/7C specifications. The connector features single leaf side wipe contacts made of beryllium copper with 30 microinches of gold plating in the contact area, designed to mate with 0.025" square or round posts and mass-terminate with 0.050" center cable. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +120°C with a current rating of 1 AMP and dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 Vrms minimum. The insulator is constructed from glass-filled polyester (UL94V-0) with contact insertion force of 4 oz typical and extraction force of 2.75 oz typical. Optional features include polarizing tabs, strain relief, and pull tabs, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable interconnection in industrial, telecommunications, and data acquisition systems.
