DESCRIPTION

The DCM742T200DF2B is a Type DCMC high-capacitance, screw-terminal aluminum capacitor designed for power supply filtering and energy storage. It provides a capacitance of 24000 µF with a tolerance of -10% to +50% and is rated for 200 Vdc with a surge capability of 250 Vdc. Key performance characteristics include a low maximum ESR of 13.3 mΩ at 120 Hz and 25 °C, and a high ripple current handling of 19.5 A at 85 °C. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and features a Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction, housed in a 3 x 5 5/8 inch case. Its high capacitance and ripple current capability make it an excellent choice for demanding applications such as UPS systems, welding equipment, and computer hold-up power.
