DESCRIPTION

The 101182U040AK2B is a Type 101C low-ESR aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for 40 VDC (55 VDC surge) applications with exceptional performance across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This capacitor features a nominal capacitance of 5,400 µF with a maximum ESR of 47.6 mO at 25°C and a ripple current rating of 5.4 A at 85°C, housed in a compact 1.375 inch diameter by 1.625 inch length cylindrical case. The extended cathode foil construction (Thermal-Pak™) ensures efficient heat dissipation in all mounting orientations, while the low ESR characteristics make it ideal for high-ripple current military and industrial applications, power supply output filtering, and demanding environments requiring full performance to -40°C and solid performance to -55°C. With a 5,000 hour load life rating, this capacitor delivers reliable, long-term performance in demanding applications.
