DESCRIPTION

The 101C223U050AD2B is a 22,000 µF aluminum electrolytic capacitor rated for 50 Vdc (75 Vdc surge) with exceptionally low ESR and wide-temperature performance. This Type 101C capacitor is designed for high-ripple current military and industrial applications requiring full performance to -40°C and solid performance to -55°C. The capacitor features an ESR maximum of 11.9 mO at 25°C, a ripple current rating of 18.3 A at 85°C, and a nominal size of 1 3/8 inches diameter by 4 5/8 inches length. With its extended cathode foil construction (Thermal-Pak™) ensuring optimal heat flow from the capacitor element to the can, this device excels as a power-supply output capacitor and is ideal for applications demanding reliable performance across extreme temperature ranges and high-ripple current environments.
