DESCRIPTION
The 6PSP10 is a Type PS Orange Drop polyester/polypropylene film capacitor designed for DC applications with a 600 VDC rating and 0.1 µF capacitance value. It features non-inductively wound, extended foil construction with a series section design utilizing metallized polypropylene film and a floating common, ensuring low inductance and reliable performance. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with ±10% capacitance tolerance and a maximum dissipation factor of 0.1%. With tinned copper-clad steel leads (0.032 inch diameter, #20 AWG) and a conformal coating of orange, flame-retardant epoxy meeting UL94V-0 specifications, this component is well-suited for high-voltage DC filtering, coupling, and energy storage applications in industrial electronics, power supplies, and instrumentation systems.
