DESCRIPTION

The 940C20P22K-F is a Type 940 polypropylene film capacitor rated for 2000 Vdc (500 Vac) operation, featuring a 0.22 µF capacitance with ±10% tolerance. This axial-leaded component incorporates dual metallized polypropylene electrodes that provide self-healing properties and exceptional high peak current carrying capability (dV/dt of 960 V/µs). The capacitor exhibits low ESR of 8 mO at 100 kHz and low inductance of 30 nH, with a peak current rating of 211 A and RMS current capability of 9.0 A at 100 kHz and 70°C. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C with full rated voltage at 85°C, this component is optimized for demanding pulse, snubber, and high-frequency applications requiring high voltage and rapid voltage change rates.
