DESCRIPTION

942C16S47K-F is a polypropylene film capacitor designed for high pulse and snubber applications requiring very high dV/dt performance. This round, axial capacitor features a hybrid section design combining polypropylene film, metal foils, and metallized polypropylene dielectric to achieve high peak current and superior RMS current ratings. With a capacitance of 0.047 µF, rated voltage of 1600 Vdc (460 Vac), and capacitance tolerance of ±10%, it offers low inductance and self-healing properties. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C and is ideal for high pulse operation and high peak current circuits in power electronics applications.
